I opened up Sam's backpack to look at all his papers that he brings home on Fridays and found this.  This is an AWESOME surprise.  He does love to read the Book of Mormon and often reminds us at night before bed.

Baby Finley O'Connor

My Sweet friend Lindsay from NC (she lives in KY now) is having her 3rd daughter next week.

I met Lindsay when we lived in NC and have kept in touch.  When I learned how to quilt last year, I have been very blessed to make some pretty quilts for friends and family.  I can't wait for Finley to arrived and have her mama snuggle her in this quilt.

No Tears - What a Trooper!

We were at subway this afternoon for lunch.  Sam bit into an apple and the loose tooth became really loose.  He was playing with it at Target and grossing me out with how far it could bend.  While taking a break from the Wii, he tried to pull it.  Then asked for help, I grabbed a tissue and a couple deep breaths later pop it came out!

This year we had some Christmas Pixies come to our house.  They shared with us the 12 days of Christmas Pixie Style.  By the end we have a Beautiful New Nativity Set to remind us of the true meaning of the Christmas season.  The birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Go 49ers!

Making quilts for a lot of people in the past yr, Steve was very happy to get one of his own.  I made him one with his favorite football teams.  Of course the 49er's on the front and the Colts on the back. 

I think he loves it.

Here is another Baby Quilt that I made for one of Steves ROTC Marines.

I love this pattern, I have made this one before a few different ways.  It is quick, easy and it turns out so stinkin CUTE!

Mr. Owl

One morning the boys came running into our room to tell us that there was some kind of bird on our brick wall.  Steve and I went to see what it was.  We found this Beautiful Owl sitting there.  We tried to get picture through the glass door, but they did not look good.  So Steve slowly opened the slider and walked slowly out to get a better picture.  This is the BEST picture we got.  Sam and Dallin said "this has got to be a Daddy Owl." We asked "Why is it a daddy owl?"  Dallin said "He has BIG Eyebrows like Dad has."  We had a good laugh.

Spelling Bee

Ok, I am really late with this post.  Dallin won his Kindergarten class spelling bee way back in Nov.  These pictures are from the school wide Spelling Bee on Dec 9th.  He missed his word - COLD.  Really, I can't believe that was his first word, but he was happy to be in the contest.  He is looking forward to next year!
